| Hi!
I'll be using this thread to link scanned issues and some bonus stuff, which came along with them.
Complete issue Scans: 12 – Seconda stesura 13 - La notte più buia 14 - Carpe diem 15 - Motore/Azione 16 - Manutenzione straordinaria 17 - Stella cadente 18 - Antico futuro 19 - Zero assoluto 20 - Mekkano 21 - Tyrannic 22 – Frammenti d'autunno 23 - Vuoto di memoria 24 - Crepuscolo 25 - Fuoco incrociato 26 - Il tempo fugge 27 - I mastini dell'universo 28 - Metamorfosi 29 - Virus 30 - Fase due 31 - Beato angelico 32 - Underground 33 - Il giorno che verrà 34 - Niente di personale 35 - Clandestino a bordo 36 - Lontano lontano 37 - Sotto un nuovo sole 38 - Nella nebbia 39 - Cronaufragio 40 – Un solo respiro 41 - Adgy days 42 - La sindrome di Ulisse 43 - Tempo al tempo 44 - Sul late oscuro 45 - Operazione Efesto 46 - Nell'ombra 47 - Prima dell'alba 48 - Le parti e il tutto 49/50 – Se...
Speciale 1997 - Missing Speciale 1999 - Zero Barra Uno Speciale 1999 - Il fine del mondo Speciale 2000 - Super
Bonus stuff:
This came along with the '00 special and had already been posted by Lord Birch almost one year ago , but at a rather low quality. This was originally 20x14 centimeters small, so the print had a really high quality: Lyla at the Beach. There's more to it; this was only the cover to a small diary with quizzes and more. I'll probably scan the rest sometimes soon.
This came along with #32 Underground. It appears to be an extract from the PKers fanzine: http://www.mediafire.com/?3grgq9n5ltwmf5u

| Look, I've seen all kinds of really extreme stuff, I know that there are people with tastes I consider strange. Personally, I'm used to finding drawings hot, but usually they are manga characters, and usually they look at least mostly human. But ducks... that's new for me. | |

As a World of Warcraft player I ran into non-human drawings of this kind (actually not ducks, but other "humanized" animals) since a few years. I think it mostly depends on the skill of the artist and the human mind to open up to other things, what decides if there can be drawings of non-human beings that look very beautiful and/or hot. Of course there's also a lot of wierd s**t, but on the other hand this also applies to drawings of beings, which are entirely human. But let's not stray too much from this topic's original intent. Here's the #34 Scan: Niente di personal (300dpi): http://www.mediafire.com/?fxvb388qj39n5ik Vote Angus for president! Oh wait...

| Kudos to you, that's some crazy speed . I mostly don't do lettering on one day, since it's so extremely monotonous and I tend to make a lot of mistakes, if I keep doing for hours without breaks (of course for whole issue lettering, not those 8-page short stories). I cringe at the thought of how to do the "Trip's Strip" bonus story. I highly doubt that I'll find any font which looks like bad enough handwriting to match the original. Maybe I'll write it by hand and scan the result to get a good effect... | |

| Ah, Trip's Strip. That bonus story actually inspired me to make my own little comics when I was a kid.
As for the font... Eh, does it really that much? I don't think anyone will care about how it looks...

| Well, I just had the thought that too much of the flair would be lost, if the font looks very regular on these pages... I added the other scans to the first page. Nothing new except the "1999 Special - Il fine del mondo" scan, which I absolutely didn't add this late to annoy you, but rather since it only arrived this friday | |

| Added #35 - Clandestino a bordo
Sorry about the stripes on the first few pages, I tried my best to remove them, but they're still visible.
I probably won't do another scan until next weekend, so there's no need to rush this.

| Kay kay kay goody goody goody.
Well, I ain't gonna start translating just yet. I was planning to do the entire trilogy in one go, and it's gonna take a little while for me to get my Swedish translations, so I'll wait a bit before I get working.
EDIT:
AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAH!
Why did you have to add that Phantom Menace advertisment? Why? Scared the sh*t out of me...
(But Mr. Banker, you see, the Xadhoom Trilogy is supposed to be like a tribute to the original Star Wars Trilogy and since this movie was coming out...)
Shut up! My eyes are bleeding! God f*cking dammit...
EDIT 2:
Wow, the Evronians in your scan are actually violet this time! On some pages.

| Added the other two Xadhoom issues to the first post. And I don't think they added the Phantom Menace advertisement especially for this trilogy, since it was also included in issue 34. - Quote :

This totally varies, sometimes they're light blue, and then they are deep violet. It's mostly the print, but setting the illumination with white- and black-points often makes it much more extreme than it looks on paper.

Ah great! I'll have to wait a few days for one of the Swedish issues, but after that, I'll have the entire trilogy up in no time! - Quote :

Amazing what scans do to coloring. Here's this one panel from three separate scans. Crazy.

| Great work! #38 scan won't be done until next tuesday or wednesday though (did scans of the '97 and '98 bonus issues the last few days). I'll probably be busy this weekend because of easter stuff. Happy Easter! | |

(Sorry for my bad english) Why can't you use a Handwritten style fonts like "Idolwild" ( http://www.fontsquirrel.com/fonts/Idolwild ) or "Askes Handwriting" ( http://www.dafont.com/askeshandwriting.font )? It's an easy way to do that complicated lettering.

"Askes Handwriting" ( http://www.dafont.com/askeshandwriting.font )? You're right, this is a possibility I'll most probably use, since writing it by hand would be very time consuming. The Problem with fonts (even handwriting fonts) is that letters don't vary, like they do with real writing. An "a" will always look the same and the longer a text passage will be, the more regular and less handwritten it will look. On other news: Added #38 and the two special issues I had mentioned to the first post. Almost half of the #38 issue was printed on a different paper, which complicated things a bit, though I think I managed to make them look pretty much alike (pages 1-16 and 65 to 80 were printed on a much lower quality paper). Was every issue 38 printed this way or did I just get unlucky with a rather strange printing error?
