Added issue 39

Vote for most misleading cover of the series (at least up until issue 39, haven't read 40-49 yet).

It was very nice to read such a thoroughly funny episode, after all these serious stories.

I have the Finnish translation, which makes perfect sense. Feel free to ask if you'd like a translation of that translation on some specific sentences...

The Swedish translation also makes perfect sense. But it's also clear that they must made some stuff up.

So I doubt it would make much difference.

An additional "opinion" never hurts...

I do believe I've found a decent Donald. Sure, nothing like the classic voice, but it's got the flair.

Well... Probable gonna have to take a small break after #39, though. Got some other sh*t I need to do.

#39 is done, with all the bullsh*it technobabble you could ever want!

I'm still waiting for the last couple of pages from Krozam, so no issue 40 yet.

Almost all of the missing issues got available again at fumetto-online, just as it had to happen after I wrote here, that I had no hope of them becoming available in the near future... Though they won't arrive 'til in a week from now, so it depends entirely on how long Banker's break will be, if I'll use Krozams Finnish scan or do the Italian myself, once it arrives.

Meanwhile I'm doing some scans of issues between #13 and #21. I'll add them to the first post for any people interested in remastering the old translations or just would like to have a better scan of the Italian originals.

Sorry, all my free time has gone into my rekindled interest for anime. >.< Tomorrow I definitely won't have time to complete the scanning, but I hope on Thursday I'll be able to do it.

Added more old stuff to the first post. The double page from issue 19 didn't turn out too well, so I'll upload a nicer version of this page, if I succeed in improving it.

New stuff finally arrived. I'm going to start scanning today and will have something done tonight or tomorrow.

Nice. I'm finishing lettering #40 and will use the low quality scans, however.

I'm sorry to hear that about #40. I was working with Krozam's scan but wasn't really satisfied with the colors. In this case I'll scan #41 next.

Well, I wish I knew what causes this on my scans, but right now I'm unable to fix this in a way that doesn't either take weeks per issue, nor gives the pictures an extreme purple undertone.

I was referring to the problem, that colors are simply too dark and a lot of details are lost. A bit like it was in the PKhack scan of issue 15 on page 49. Unfortunately, there's no way to fix this by making the image brighter, since the details won't come back this way.

Sucks.

And I'm done.

Completely forgot how long lettering can take.
